Liam Church, President & Chief Executive Officer

Liam Church is a Director of Escher Group and rejoined the company as CEO in October 2007. Mr Church previously worked for the postal service in Ireland for 22 years and served as the CEO of a wealth management company. His key focus is on the process of change within postal organizations and the use of technology to drive business growth and accelerate profitability. Over the course of his career, Mr Church has been responsible for numerous, large-scale business and IT projects within the postal industry. 

 

Fionnuala Higgins, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Fionnuala joined Escher Group in April 2000 as a result of Escher’s acquisition of Anshe Ltd. of which she was a co-founder.  Fionnuala is responsible for leading the company’s sales and marketing efforts and has a technology background with over 25 years experience in the postal industry. Fionnuala held senior management positions at An Post, and was Technology Director for Post Consult International.  

 

Trevor McIntyre, Finance Director

Trevor is a graduate of Rhodes University (BCom and PDipAcc), the National College of Ireland (MA Finance with First Class Honours) and is a chartered accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and South African Institute of Chartered Accountants).

Trevor joined the Escher Group in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer following the management buy-out. Trevor has over 15 years’ experience in financial reporting and operations and has worked extensively in mergers and acquisitions and fundraising activities in industry and as an adviser. Trevor previously fulfilled a number of senior roles with PwC, AIG and KPMG both in Ireland and in South Africa.

Trevor was appointed to the Board in 2011.

 

Peter Dreifus, Chief Operating Officer

Peter joined Escher Group in June 2001. Prior to his current role as Chief Operating Officer, he served as the Company’s Interim President and Chief Financial Officer. Peter has more than 25 years experience working with technology companies and, prior to joining Escher, held a variety of senior finance positions with companies such as Sequence Design, Inc., Avery Dennison Corporation and the accounting, tax and consulting firm Deloitte. Peter earned a B.S. degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Jeremy Folkes, Chief Technology Officer

Jeremy has worked in the postal technology business since 1987, with his first 13 years spent in the UK Post Office, before joining Escher Group in 2000. During his time with the UK Post Office he played major roles in a number of counter automation initiatives, within what is one of the world’s largest postal companies. Prior to taking up his current role, Jeremy held the position of VP Professional Services in Escher for a number of years, working closely with each of Escher's major customers. This has given him significant insight into both the business and technical needs of major postal organizations across the world.

Jeremy holds a BA (Hons) in Mathematics and a MA from Trinity College, Oxford. Prior to moving into the postal business Jeremy worked for Logica, a major UK software house, on a number of large projects for blue chip companies in both the oil and technology sectors, and at the scientific research institution for the UK gas safety industry.

 

Peter Tichy, Executive Vice President, Client Services

A graduate of the University of Linz, Peter has fifteen years experience in a postal technology environment, particularly with Austria Post where he implemented postal counter automation in 1998. Since joining Escher Group in January 2000, Peter has risen to the position of EVP of Client Services, with global responsibility for account management including implementations of Riposte®, project quality management and coordination of all Escher projects.

Prior to working with Austria Post, Peter held positions in PORSCHE Informationssysteme GmbH and has extensive experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and large scale database systems.

 

Jacob Skowronek, Executive Vice President, Boston Operations and Engineering

Jacob joined the Escher software development team in April 1996.  Since then, he has been involved with a majority of the technologies present in Escher's current product set. Jacob is responsible for the Boston development team and all operations at the Boston office. Prior to joining Escher, Jacob worked for internet application and service companies. He holds a BA (Hons) in Computer Science from Brandeis University.

 

Jasjit Nehal, Managing Director Escher Asia Pacific Pte Ltd

Jasjit Nehal joined Escher Group in 1999 and was Vice President of Software Development at its headquarters in Cambridge until 2002 when he assumed overall responsibility for Escher’s Asia Pacific operations based in Singapore. He has been responsible for the successful delivery of a number of Escher’s counter automation projects and brings with him the experience gained from development projects in post offices across the globe. In addition to Mr. Nehal’s extensive knowledge of the postal industry, he has over 20 years experience working for large IT companies like ICL and Fujitsu in a variety of senior technical and management positions including being the lead architect of the highly successful Singapore Post POST21 Counter Automation system which was based on Escher’s technology.   

 

Pauline Kenna, Head of Dublin Development

A graduate of Dublin City University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Applications, Pauline has 15 years experience in the postal and technology industries. Prior to joining Escher Group in 2001, Pauline was involved in counter automation initiatives for the UK Post Office and Australia Post. These experiences together with her involvement in counter automation projects within Escher have given her significant insight into both the business and technical needs of major postal organizations. Since joining Escher, Pauline has risen to the position of Head of Development, with overall responsibility for management and coordination of all Dublin projects. Prior to moving in to the postal technology sector, Pauline held positions in the telecommunications and healthcare industries.
